The Shooting For Peace movement continued this year in New Orleans, LA for the 2017 NBA All-Star festivities. The hosting school was Joseph S. Clark high school where they had ex professional basketball players teaming up with community leaders such as the police chief, Harlem Globetrotters and other celebrities to promote peace throughout communities. The JYD project and the NBRPA 12 chapters said, what better way to do this than a basketball game and a discussion panel which allowed the community to ask questions to athletes and give away scholarships!
